What is it?
Live Streaming refers to recording and broadcasting a video in real-time.
Remo supports sharing videos from YouTube, Vimeo, or Twitch. They can be a live stream or an old video stored/uploaded on these platforms.
How can I Stream to Remo?
1. In Presentation mode, click on 'More'
2. Click on 'Share video'
3. Paste a link to the live stream video (or the pre-recorded video)
For Vimeo videos please see the Vimeo section below
4. If you would like your guests to have access to the video controls (such as pause, fast forward, rewind, or closed captions) then make sure to check the box below the video link
5. Click 'Play Now'
Once you click 'Play Now' the video will be automatically played for all guests in the event

What about the quality of the video?
Youtube:
Remo will apply the default settings (default quality).
Vimeo:
For Vimeo videos, to retrieve the video link, please click the Share button in the upper right corner of the video, and retrieve the video link from the Embed code (https://player.vimeo.com/video/xxxxxxxxx) as pictured below:
Quality settings are not available. Remo respects the settings of Vimeo.
Find a live stream on Vimeo here: https://vimeo.com/watch and test it!
Twitch:
Remo will apply the default settings (default quality).
But, with all 3 platforms guests can change the quality of the video by clicking the gear icon and selecting the quality level they desire.
This is only possible though if you 'enable video controls for other participants' when sharing the video (see Step 4 above)
Interaction with viewers
Q&As don't get integrated. That means you will have to moderate Remo's Q&A with YouTube, Vimeo, or Twitch's Q&A separately.
# of viewers
Remo does not integrate the # of viewers with the platform you are using. You have to
manually sum up Remo's viewers and the platform viewers, if you are interested to know the total # of viewers.
Last considerations
1. Test your live video equipment. Live stream audiences tend to be more forgiving regarding technical malfunctions, but simple testing will minimize mistakes.
2. Record a test version of your entire live video to rehearse your live stream and play it back to make sure everything is working well.
