Did you know with Miro, you're able to create a single whiteboard for all your tables in the Remo Event so all your guests can connect and interact on one whiteboard like below:

(On the left-hand side, a guest is editing the whiteboard whilst sitting on Table 1. On the right-hand side, a guest is editing the same whiteboard whilst sitting on Table 2)

And, good news... it's super simple to do!

All you need is:

  • a Miro account
  • a Remo Event that's set up

1. Click 'More' and then 'Whiteboard' in your bottom menu toolbar to open up a table's whiteboard

If you prefer, you can also create your whiteboard directly on a Miro account. If you'd like to do that instead...
1. Log in to your Miro account
2. Create your one whiteboard
3. Skip to Step 5 in this article

2. Create your board!

Remember, this one whiteboard you're creating will be used for all tables and all guests, so think about adding some "spaces" for specific tables or add some instructions or notes for guests about where you'd like them to go and how you want them to use this collective whiteboard.

Check out our example below where we've set up one square for each Remo table

If you want an idea of all the tools you have available on a Miro whiteboard, check out this quick article!

3. Click 'Save to my boards' at the top of your whiteboard to save this board directly to your Miro account

If you are not currently signed in to your Miro account, the button should say 'Sign in to save this board'. Click this and follow the on-screen instructions to sign into your Miro account.

This is a required step.

4. Enter a name for your whiteboard! (This will be how you identify this whiteboard in the future). Click 'Save' when you've decided.

5. Move to another table in your event space and open up the table's whiteboard (click 'More' and 'Whiteboard' on the bottom menu toolbar)

6. Click the Import button (downward arrow button) in the upper right corner of the whiteboard

7. This will open up a pop-up window with all your Miro boards listed. Find and click on the board you just created.

8. Select your desired access settings:

  • Anyone can edit: This means anyone on the table can edit the whiteboard
  • Anyone can view: This means everyone at the table can only see the whiteboard, they will not be able to edit the whiteboard

9. Ta-da! The board will import to this table's whiteboard. And since they are the same Miro board, these whiteboards are connected. So, edits on the whiteboard from your original table will also be made on this new table's whiteboard!

10. Repeat steps 5-9 with all the other tables in your event space for which you'd like this whiteboard as well.
