If you're looking for how to specifically share your PowerPoint or Google Slides Presentation, then this article is for you!
This article specifically focuses on sharing your Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides Presentations in Remo.
Here are a few ways you can do this:
Note that the presentation must be open. If it is minimized, it will not appear in the list
Microsoft PowerPoint:
Option 1: If you would like to share your slides and be able to see Remo at the same time:
This option is only available if you are using a Chrome or Edge browser. With other browsers, you may not be able to select to share an 'Application Window'.
1. Go to your PowerPoint Presentation and click the 'Slide Show' tab at the top of your screen. Then select 'Set Up Slide Show'.
2. Under Show type, select 'Browsed by an individual (window)' and click 'Ok'.3. Now you can start sharing your Powerpoint presentation. Your presentation should open in another window.
4. To be able to control your presentation and continue seeing Remo, click the restore down icon on your presentation window. You should now still be able to see your presentation slides with Remo in the background.
5. In your Remo Event, click 'Share' in your bottom menu toolbar, and then select the 'Application Window' tab. Select your Powerpoint presentation and click the 'Share' button.
6. Ta-da! Now you'll be able to control your slides and keep an eye on your Remo event at the same time!
Note with this option, you won't be able to use Microsoft Powerpoint's subtitles option. You can check out this article for some other ideas on adding captioning to your event.
Option 2: If you're looking to just share your slides into Remo:
This option is only available if you are using a Chrome or Edge browser. With other browsers, you may not be able to select to share an 'Application Window'.
On a Safari browser, you will have to share your 'Entire Screen' instead, which means you cannot switch back and forth between Remo and your presentation.
1. Go to your PowerPoint and put your Presentation in Slideshow Mode or press F5
2. Press 'Alt'+'tab' on Windows or 'Command'+'tab' on Mac and Select your Remo Event
3. In your Remo Event, select 'Share' from your bottom menu toolbar, and select the 'Application Window' tab. Select your Powerpoint presentation and click the 'Share' button.
4. Now you're all set! Your guests will now be able to see your PowerPoint presentation in full screen
Note with this option, you won't be able to see both your PowerPoint and Remo (or any other application) at the same time. If you'd like to keep track of the General Chat or Q&A during your Presentation you'll need to switch back and forth between the two applications
Google Slides:
Option 1: If you would like to share your slides and be able to see Remo at the same time:
This option is only available if you are using a Chrome or Edge browser. With other browsers, you may not be able to select to share a specific 'tab'.

On a Safari browser, you will have to share your 'Entire Screen' instead, which means you cannot switch back and forth between Remo and your presentation.
1. Go to your Remo Event, during presentation mode, click 'Share' in your bottom menu toolbar, and then select the 'Window' tab. Select your Google Slides presentation and click the 'Share' button.
2. Go back to your Google Slides Presentation and select 'Presenter View' from the dropdown next to 'Slideshow' in the upper right corner of your screen as shown below:
